This water is highly alkaline and, strongly micro-clustered; a potent cleaning agent that can be used in place of detergents and cleansers, a powerful grease cutting agent. After cleaning surfaces with pH 11.5 water, spray the surface with pH 2.5 acid water as an anti-microbial.

11.5 pH Strong Alkaline Water has an oxidation/reduction potential (ORP) of -700mV – 850mV. This stops free radicals in their tracks and reduces inflammation rapidly. If you have arthritis or another inflammatory condition, soaking or wrapping with Strong Alkaline Water can be extremely helpful. Dr. Carpenter has seen this in his office on a number of occasions. Uses for Acid Water

Use at a pH of about 2.5  for its antiseptic value. Put your electrolysis continuous water generator on the strong acid water setting and use this water as an antiseptic (coming out the small hose or small 1/4 inch faucet), skin tonic (once per day only for acne).. Due to its constricting effect, the various Acidic Waters also has a wide range of cooking uses, which are:

  • Cooking noodles with acidic water will prevent the noodles from becoming soggy. Some people still use the 8.5 pH drinking water. Either is good. Experiment yourself. That’s half the fun.
  • Using mild acidic water to coat fried dishes will help that the dish is much crispier.
  • Soak fish in mild acidic water before cooking. It will tighten the meat of some fish, making it easier to cook.
  • Disinfecting fruits and vegetables with acidic water will kill harmful bacteria. Disinfect (soak for 3-5 min.) vegetables with acid water [2.5 – 3.5] to kill the germs without harming the healthiness of the vegetables. Then soak your vegetables in the strongest setting you can get of alkaline water [11 – 11.5] for another 5-10 min. What this does is dissolve the pesticides from the surface of your vegetables. Farmers are using pesticides today that are oily, because the oily pesticides don’t wash off easily in the rain. However, this makes them also not easy to wash off in your sink! Now you can counteract that by soaking your non-organic vegetables in the strong alkaline water. The water will turn a brownish color. That’s the dirt and pesticides becoming released. After 10 minutes, Pour that water out and soak once more in some fresh alkaline water for another minute or so, and you’re ready to go. Washing veggies and fruits will maintain their vibrant colors. Even organic food have to go through the distribution chain before they get to your table. You would be surprised what comes off. Try it .. find out yourself.
  • Fried food – will come out crispy using mild acidic water 5.5-6.0 pH beauty water.
  • Frozen food – when you spray your food with mild acidic water prior to freezing, you’re ensuring that the flavor will not be lost when thawed.
  • Cooking beans – they will cook to perfection in less time! Beans can be soaked in alkaline ionized water for a shorter time before  cooking. Cooking rice with alkaline ionized water helps prevent spoilage.

Commercial uses:

Strong Kangen Acid water (2.5 pH made with Salt ) with high oxidant levels (O.R.P. of +1100mV) is currently used in American and Japanese hospitals in the treatment of bedsores, operative wounds with complicated infections, and diabetic ulcers. This water is sometimes referred to as “super oxide water”. It is used extensively in Japan’s medical facilities for the sterilization of surgical equipment and wounds. Strong Alkaline Water

Strong Alkaline Water (pH 11.5) is not safe for drinking.

Uses for High pH Alkaline Water  pH 11.5 (.. pH is NOT the only issue.. the issue is HOW the Kangen 11.5 pH strong Kangen water is made)

Turmeric, the perennial herb which is prized in Ayurvedic medicine, is known to most of us as the gold-colored Indian spice used to make curry and mustard. Curcumin is one of hundreds of constituents found in the root of the turmeric plant. People often use the words turmeric and curcumin interchangeably, but they’re actually not the same thing. Turmeric is the whole food or whole herb, whereas curcumin is an extracted component of turmeric—the latter being the one that has been singled out for it therapeutic properties.

Curcumin’s medicinal use dates back 6,000 years ago to the ancient Egyptian pharaohs and Ayurvedic medical practitioners in India. Today, curcumin is used for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-arthritic, anti-tumor and anti-amyloid (to combat neurodegenerative diseases) effects.

When curcumin’s cancer-fighting properties were first discovered by Western medicine, an American pharmaceutical company tried to patent turmeric. Needless to say, health practitioners and suppliers from India were outraged considering they have been using this herb for thousands of years to heal and treat major diseases.

Researchers at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center conducted a study that showed when curcumin was added into cell cultures containing multiple myeloma (a type of cancer), it stopped the cancer cells from reproducing—and the remaining cells died.

Curcumin also obstructs cancerous cell growth by activating and protecting the release of human glutathione. Glutathione is a key antioxidant that the body produces to maintain normal cellular activity and is the only antioxidant that resides inside the cell. From this prime position, glutathione and curcumin inhibit cellular mutagens that would otherwise promote cancer.

Curcumin has also been shown to reduce chemically-induced cancer by 90%—such as mouth and tongue cancers caused by smoking. Curcumin interferes with the process of the p450 enzyme in the liver that would otherwise convert environmental toxins into carcinogens, which mutate cells and promote cancerous growth.

A new study is showing that the polyphenols in turmeric may be helpful for reducing the risk of fatty liver while decreasing stress at the cellular level. This study is just one of the recent examples in the literature showing a strong benefit of turmeric with liver health.

Turmeric and Fatty Liver

A recent study published in the December 2015 issue of Archives of Animal Nutrition examined the effect of turmeric polyphenols on the livers of cows. [1] Since many conventional feedlots are crowded and dirty, cows are under a great deal of stress. This stress causes physiological changes that impact the health of the liver in much the same way as stress impacts the liver (among other organs) in humans. It has been suggested that physiological stress of the endoplasmic reticulum in the liver contributes to fatty liver development, just like excess consumption of refined sugars.

In the study, a Turmericmajor stress hormone in the liver was significantly reduced in the group of cows fed the polyphenol mixture consisting of turmeric and green tea. In addition, the study also saw reduction in irritation markers, suggesting a possible risk reduction for fatty liver. The researchers commented that turmeric polyphenols may be helpful in decreasing fatty liver risk in cows. Considering that the induction of fatty liver works in the same way, could turmeric be helpful in fighting fatty liver in humans, too? It can’t be said for certain but this isn’t the first example of good news like this. [2]

Youve probably seen avocados being touted as a heart-healthy superfood in recent years. Realistically, the truth isnt too far off from the hype. The next time youre grabbing that burrito or turkey sandwich, you might want to consider adding a healthy dollop of guacamole. Here are four reasons that you should consider eating a little bit of avocado each day.

1. You may reduce your risk of heart disease.

Heart disease is the number 1 killer in the United States, affecting nearly 27 million adults, so it only makes sense that we would want to protect ourselves by being more health-conscious in our dietary choices. Avocados have been shown to positively benefit our cardiovascular system in a number of ways due to its low saturated fat and high unsaturated fat content (predominantly the monounsaturated fat (MUFA) variety). Consuming excess saturated fat (>10% of total calories) may raise your LDL and HDL cholesterol and triglycerides. On the contrary, consuming adequate unsaturated fat in your diet may help lower LDL-cholesterol (bad cholesterol), maintain HDL-cholesterol (good cholesterol) and potentially improve your insulin sensitivity.

In addition its nutritious fat content, avocados also contain a potent mix of nutrients (e.g., potassium and lutein), including plenty of antioxidants such as carotenoids, callexanthophylls and phenols. These compounds can help prevent inflammation and oxidative stress in the blood vessels while facilitating improved blood flow.

2. You may have an easier time maintaining your weight

Eating fat to lose fat; who would have thought? Avocados can help with weight-loss and maintaining a healthy BMI by promoting a feeling of satiety. A recent study showed that including avocado in meals helped extend feelings of fullness and reduced the desire to overindulge. The belly-filling properties of avocados is aided by their high fiber content, about 14g per fruit on average. In addition, higher avocado consumption has been associated with smaller waistlines and lower BMIs in observational studies. Lastly, some research has even shown that weight-loss diets higher in MUFA, like the kind avocados are packed with, may prove healthier for your heart than low-fat weight-loss diets.

3. You might reduce your risk of cancer

Avocados provide us with numerous phytochemicals that may help prevent cancer, including the previously discussed xanthophylls and phenols. A protein compound called glutathione, along with the xanthophyll lutein (both found in avocados), have been associated with decreased rates of oral cancer. Preliminary data also show promising results for avocados potential role in reducing risk of both breast and prostate cancers. Additionally, preliminary studies demonstrate that a specific type of fav derived from avocados is able to exert anti-cancer effects on acute myeloid leukemia cells. Together, these studies show that further research needs to be conducted to draw more conclusive results.

4. You will protect your skin and eyes well into old age

As it turns out, avocado carotenoids do quite a number of things for our body. Both lutein and another compound found in avocados called zeaxanthin can slow age-related ocular decline and prevent vision dysfunction. In addition, these same two nutrients also act as buffers against oxidative UV damage, keeping our skin smooth and healthy. The bioavailability (ease of absorption by our body) of carotenoids from avocados compared to many other fruits and vegetables makes eating avocados every day a sensible choice.

Recipes to try:

Avocado Smoothie

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • two leaves kale (lacinato black kale has higher usable protein)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup low-fat yogurt(be careful to examine the sugar content) or add dates instead
  • ½ cup orange juice (raw squeezed eliminates the refined sugar content)

Combine ingredients into blender and mix.

Bacon Peach Guacamole

  • 1 ripe peach
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ¼ red onion, minced
  • 2 strips bacon, crisped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cut peaches into small dice and place in bowl. Mash avocados and combine with peaches. Crisp bacon in skillet, dice and add to bowl. Mince onion and add to guacamole. Enjoy with whole-grain tortilla chips.

Aside from the multitude of health benefits, avocados have the extra bonus of being a tasty, creamy food that can be incorporated into shakes, desserts, dips, and toppings. So don’t be afraid to add avocado!

Molecular Hydrogen: Its role in your defense system

So what….our immune system should help us and become stronger…yes? Nope… maybe 100 years ago, but consider what we are adding to our environment and our bodies…

The cooling down of the nuclear reactor with seawater resulted in radioactive particles evaporating into the atmosphere and travelling with the jet stream over other states, where the radiation in rain was measured twenty times higher than in Japan. By now fish as far away as the north Sea have been found to contain radioactive metals from the Japanese reactor. The concerning matter is that some of these highly toxic radioactive metals will instantly cause cancer the minute they enter your body, such as plutonium and cesium, just to name a couple of the dangerous ones.

Here’s the thing; your cells are constantly under attack by free radicals. Free radicals are byproducts of energy production from your cell engines: mitochondria cells. Free radicals are very reactive, and if left alone can damage health molecules inside your cells.  Normally, your antioxidant defense system can take care of free radicals before they inflict any harm. The cells are under constant attack.

The Mitochondria are responsible for producing energy in the form of ATP, but they also produce free radicals as a byproduct.  Oxygen is critical in driving energy production. Unfortunately, 2-5% of the oxygen utilized in energy production convert into Free Radicals called Superoxide Anions.

Within your cells there are antioxidant enzymes such as Superoxide Dismutase that neutralizes Superoxide Anions into Hydrogen Peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide is a weaker Free Radical that is useful in your cells. Its use is from generation inside your body not taken from outside. It is used by your immune system to kill bacteria.

Another antioxidant enzyme is Glutathione Peroxidase. This antioxidant converts hydrogen peroxide into water. A strong antioxidant system is very important part of having healthy cells because Free radicals are constantly generated inside your cells.

Neutralizing free radicals such as superoxide anion into water is two step process.  IT’s very important that an abundance of antioxidants such s Superoxide Dismutase and Glutathione Peroxidase are available to quickly and efficiently neutralize most free radicals. However, depending on your Diet, Lifestyle, and Environment, your cells can create more free radicals hat your antioxidant enzymes can handle. When excess free radicals are formed inside your cells, it can result in serious consequences for your health.

Unhealthy lifestyle, poor water with no minerals or molecular hydrogen, bad environment and poor nutrition contributes to excess free radical production in your cells. Also, as you age, your antioxidant defense system weakens, leaving you more vulnerable to free radical damage. I’ve mentioned above the most common contributors to producing excess free radicals inside your cells. Some others include: processed foods, Drugs, Alcohol, Smoking, Household and Industrial Chemicals, Heavy Metals, Lack of sleep, Stress, Mold, EMF, carbonated drinks.

When excess free radicals are produced inside the cells, some of them can convert into more dangerous free radicals.  Fro example, hydrogen peroxide readily converts into the most dangerous hydroxyl radicals in the presence of Iron(II) or other heavy metals.  Another example is when your cells are subjected to radiation, UV rays, and Electomagnetic frequencies (EMF) these can directly produce hydroxyl radicals inside your cells.

Hydroxyl radicals are highly reative free radicals that will steal an electron form any other molecule, including DNA, Protein, Lipids, etc., thereby damaging them.

Once free radicals convert into hydroxyl radicals, there are NO antioxidant enzymes that can neutralize them.  Hydroxyl radicals will quickly react with and damage nearby molecules.

Oxidative stress occurs when there is a disturbance in the balance of free radicals and antioxidants.
